Cake for Breakfast

United States
February 1, 2020 10:19am CST
Good morning, mylot. How are you doing today? Yesterday was my parents 16th anniversary, so we met up with them at a food truck event and brought them a cake. 16 years is a big deal, and I hope to have a relationship as solid as theirs. They didn't want to keep the whole cake so we split it up among our friends and family which means...cake for breakfast! Usually I don't like sweets so early in the morning, but a small slice with a cup of coffee just seemed perfect this morning. What is your longest relationship? And have you ever had a piece of cake as a breakfast treat? Any plans for the weekend? Have a good day, mylot picture is mine

@isweartokira What type of cake was it? Two of those five years was our marriage, the other three were dating / affianced.

@ScribbledAdNauseum yellow cake and frosting, nothing fancy but it hit the spot :) I've been with this guy for a little over a year, still in the dating phases

@isweartokira Oh no problem :-) That makes sense. Food trucks are fun to eat at , if not expensive :-)

no they don't own a food truck, sorry if that was confusing. there was a food truck event in the area and we met them there for dinner/fun night out. if I could cook I would love to own one, that would be fun!

My parents were married for 50 years before my dad finally passed away. They had a lot of ups and downs, but I always admired how they stuck together through thick and thin! My longest relationship was 11 years, with my ex-wife. The girlfriend I had before my current one was for 7 years, and that only ended because she landed a dream job in San Antonio, TX. Otherwise, we'd still be going strong.
