Just a question

Okay so my question is... If you had 3 families (yes I said 3) and none of them talk to you what would you do? I actually have a step-mom, a step-dad and I have my adopted family. Due to some of my medical issues I cannot travel as much as I used to be able to and they are all upset with me. A lot of my family claims that I'm not sick and when I showed them proof that I was sick and what I had including my pre cancer they started harassing me and calling me a liar. When I offer for them to come see me they make excuses on why they can't come every time or say they will be here and when they don't show up my kids and up broken hearted. So what is your opinion on what you just read?

Very sad when i see your life story, my suggestion for you please watch muniba mazari speech on YouTube. She's just same as like you. And she never give up in her life. She also faced many problems in her life.

no use explaining to them. It seems that whatever reasons you give them will not matter. If they are family and care for you and your kids, they should have been there when you need them.

@Honesmama84 just let them be, do not let them bother you. and do not tell the kids if they are coming or not. The kids will get high hopes

I hear this kind of story all to often and first my opinion is that it is sad that people are like this. That road goes both ways so if they wanted to see you and the kids that much they would find a way to get there. Sadly the kids are the ones that are going to be most affected by this.

Exactly. My mother told me to let my kids know that they can spend the night at her place and to have all their stuff ready and that she be here in an hour. About '15 minutes before she was supposed to be here she called and said that her babysitter could not handle her kids so she had to turn back around and go home. She was exactly 2 streets away when she called me and told me that meanwhile my youngest wh is 4 fell asleep on the couch looking out the window waiting for her to show up.

@Bensen32 She has done this 4 times in the past 2 years and each time claimed that I should have known better then to tell my kids she was supposed to be here
