Damage from the volcanic ashes

In the picture are the leaves of the custard apple (atis) that has the dark spots caused by the volcanic ashes. I was not able to clean the leaves of the trees at once because I was focused on our roof and also on the roof of the extended garage. After a few days, the ashes were heated by the sun resulting into those dark spots.

What a shame, but the leaves looks healthy, only tainted, I do not believe the plant suffers.

@Alexandoy I think that the leaves and the tree should not suffer for this.

@LadyDuck it was my fault. I neglected to clean the leaves of the ashes. I thought the ashes will fall by itself. When the sun got hot the leaves were burned.

I should have cleaned the leaves at once but I neglected it for almost a week. When the sun got hotter, the ashes on the leaves got too hot so those black stains are burn marks.

No gardener here knows about the problem. I just have to wait for new leaves to replace the damaged leaves.

The are burn marks. When the volcanic ashes fell here, I was not able to clean the leaves. When then sun shone, the ashes were heated and burned the leaves.

It's still good that it's not that severe to kill the tree.

Yes, the ashes got hot under the sun so the leaves got slightly burned.
