Our Ice Princess, our granddaughter, auditioned like crazy to be the new face representing the Empire (New York) State Winter Olympics for next year.
She was chosen out of many, many girls based on her vivacious personality, her voice, her figure skating, her energy, her past stage experience, her presence, and of course, her adorableness!
I’m not exactly sure how she will represent the state of New York, but our older son thinks she will appear on billboards, programs, their website, and in ads. I hope to get more info.
She is so excited!

Wow how proud you must all be. Well done to her. Hopefully someone will spot her talents and become her sponsor so that she will become an Olympic Gold. She certainly has the talent! Well done you for your encouragement too!

Thanks, Gary!
I hate to brag, but..... her talent has been spotted a long time ago. She’s modeled, performed Off Broadway, was asked to perform in The Ice Skating Theater of NYC, represented the State of NY in Michigan, etc... I hope she continues doing whatever makes her happy.

She got pink and purple braces shortly after this photo, and auditioned with them.
I guess braces added to her charm as a kid. lol
I’m on a high from her right now, and waiting for some exciting news about my grandson. They light up my life!

@DianneN I can tell by your blase attitude. Not that you would frame a poster of her or anything like that.
