Odd Jobs

hello mylot, I'm enjoying my coffee before I go to work today.
I've posted in the past about looking for work because right now I have two very odd jobs...which got me thinking about all the weird work I've done in the past. I've never had a real career, but I've had plenty of odd jobs. My dream job would be a full time artist, but I've got a long way to go until I'm at that point. I might not ever get to that point but I want to try!
I've worked in a construction office, I've worked for a haunted house event for 5 years, I've helped someone run their business, I've sold my art and photography, and I've been a chauffeur. They've all been strange but wonderful experiences, definitely not your average desk job.
So I want to ask, What is the strangest job you've ever had?
Any plans for tonight, myLot? I'm going to a quarter auction with my neighbor. Have a good day

I’m not sure I’ve had any really odd jobs, at least legal ones! I won’t mention some of the illegal jobs I’ve had, in order to protect the guilty! Haha
Oh, I remember one job I did one summer. I washed and waxed commercial jets at Palm Beach International Airport. That was an interesting one because we had to work overnight while the planes were in the maintenance hangars getting serviced.

@isweartokira That job actually paid really good money. The real benefit was picking up side jobs washing and waxing private luxury jets of the rich and famous. That's where the big money was at.

I was a dishwasher at Many Glacier Hotel in Glacier Park Montana. I was a pot specialist. My pots were the cleanest ever and I was awarded...nothing. But I took pride in my work and was able to hike and climb on my days off.

@isweartokira Thank you! I grew up as a competitive person (I've played sports all my life) and really do want to be "the best" at whatever I do.

You really have had some interesting jobs. I accompanied girls to their school and back to their homes. I really did not like it. They really were not nice girls.

I think the weirdest job I've had was handing out balloons and toys at an icecream shop chain haha, It was kinda weird.
I hope you achieve your dream of becoming a full time artist

@samysotelo18 I've been setting up an Etsy shop, but eventually I'd want my own website

I am at my second job, but the first one was not an odd one neither, I just didn't like it. Now, my job has become my passion and probably a career.

Well I do not know if one would classify it as totally strange, but I worked in a poultry plant..a factory where they process chicken to eat..well the stories I could tell are crazy. It was a very weird job. And hard too.

well I'm not male so I guess not in this case. it was more for a specific family, driving their daughter to school and extracurricular activities. it was fun

At least you’ve found enjoyable work.
The only jobs I’ve had were pretty normal:
Babysitting
Working in a bakery
Working in a boutique and becoming a manager
Working in Macy’s
Working at a high end children’s shoe store
And being a teacher and college professor
Tonight is Friday date night!
Have fun tonight!

@isweartokira Not if the bakery allows you to eat anything you want! I’m talking 20 pounds!
Thanks!
