Germany
February 7, 2020 11:54am CST
Hello! Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening to all mylotters Investors, Founders, Creators, Admin, Staff, Friends and Newbies I woke up with a good weather today the sun shines so well but still cold since it`s still winter here Today I have muscle pains all over my body due to household chores I think but it`s ok I just need to use some muscle pain reliever and pads. Now, I`m curious what do you do when you have muscle pains? Do you go to massage therapy or you buy some muscle pain cream or oil and massage it on your own? I hope you can share it with me here Happy mylotting to all Photo: google

If I have muscle pain due to hard work, I will take a hot bath with herbal foam bath before going to bed. There are plenty of muscle herbal pain relievers in DM Markt or Rossmann shop.

If it is not an injury kind of pain, just soreness from activities, then I'll just stretch. Actually I stretch every day - particularly before I know I'm going to be doing a lot of physical stuff - and then afterwards. A warm shower helps me too.

You`re right I also do some stretching myself but if it pains too much I go to a massage therapy. Thank you so much for sharing and dropping by here. See you around in any post. Happy mylotting

@m_audrey6788 If I am up to it, I do self massage too. If it is in the limbs, you're supposed to press out - towards your hands or feet (not that I am a massage expert or anything - that's just what I was told). Something my friends do - they take a bath with Epsom salt in it - it's supposed to help draw out the lactic acid in your muscles - but I haven't tried that out myself yet.

A hot bath usually works for me and rest. For other pain, I ice and heat alternating it throughout the day.

Usually liniment oil or Oil of Wintergreen would help ease the pain or if it really hurts (but tolerable) I'd put some menthol patches called Salonpas but if it's not tolerable i take some Over the counter meds such as ibuprofen to ease the pain.

@m_audrey6788 I don't go to massage therapist as it's really expensive to have a session at a local spa but we do have a thing here that is called "massage chairs" where you just insert some papermoney to the machine and it will give a relaxing back massage while sitting down. I do use those essential oils rubbing it on my body by myself though when i am in pain lol Thanks for your reply!

I usually have a hot bath to soothe any kind of pain. I'm also lucky to have a wonderful husband who will massage my aches and pains! I can't really take any painkillers as even the mildest ones just send me to sleep (which is OK if I take them before bed time and don't have to get up in the morning!)

@m_audrey6788 My sister is an holistic therapist so I've made use of her services! She doesn't do it full time, though, so haven't had a massage from her for a while. My husband is very good at it - he did study anatomy and physiology to become a medic. If it wasn't for them, I couldn't afford massage therapy!

It's it's minimal and if I can reach the area, I'll work it with my hands. I use a tennis ball almost every night as my muscles in my hips get sore although I do have to move the ball around some to work both sides. I've not paid for massages but my husband and I did them for each other and other people when we were younger. I rarely thing about taking pain pills. Some years ago I did use the ointment on my knee pain and a tends unit and that worked fine for a few weeks.

Oh ok. You mean you thought about taking a pain pills? I think it`s not good taking too much pain pills as it don`t solve the problem but only gives you a temporary pain relief

@m_audrey6788 Sorry to know you were dealing with some muscle pains! For me, if I have any type of pain on my body, I will use either a heat pack or cold pack or switch between the two depending. And sometimes I will go for a massage also depending on the type of pain. Hope you have a good day / night.

I usually do some type of light stretching and yoga when I'm stiff or achy. If I have pain Advil helps with swelling and aches. A warm compress can't hurt if the muscles are tight. Not sure how effective those creams really are?

For me creams makes our body warms for the muscle. I don`t know about others but it really works for me. I even go to SPA Massage when I really need some good massage therapy. Thank you so much for sharing and dropping by here. Happy mylotting
