Today my three year old granddaughter that I babysit couldn't keep anything down, not even a sip of water. As soon as she drank it she was sick.
She had no fever, she asked me to text her mom, so I did. Her mom said she would come get the kids if it happened again. It did happened 4 or 5 more times and I texted her, just letting her know what was going on and she seemed to get upset with me saying they were short handed there.
I hope no one else get's it like her parents, sister or brother and me.
Please pray for her! I felt so bad there was nothing I could do to stop it.

@Tina30219 I did put they aware that the doctor said what had was not contagious. This happened last September too. That was the first time I had been sick I with the flu in 10 years.

Aww poor kid. I hope she gets past it quickly and no one else catches it. Her mother may not have been able to leave if they were short staffed but you were fine to tell her what was going on so she knows. If my kid was sick I'd want to be updated while I couldn't be there with them.

I didn't ask her to leave, it was her idea. The man next door told me that his child had a stomach virus and had a temp of 101! And that the doctor and the school says that is is going around. But my granddaughter hasn't had a tempreture!

I hope she gets well. But one of her parents has to go and take her to get proper medication. I can see that you can do nothing as doctors go.

Saying a prayer for your sweet little granddaughter. I hope she gets over this quickly. The fact that she has no fever sounds like a good thing. It's unfortunate that you can't get medical help for her. No help over the phone is understandable but can't you take her to an ER?
