Are You Wearing Socks?

With my neuropathy, my feet go from being hot at times to being freezing cold. This happens even in the summer. Strange, I know. When my feet get cold, I can barely walk at all. I have quite a few thick, soft, warm socks to wear but the ones in the picture are my favorite. I know there are Christmas trees on them but, oh well. They are soft, warm and comfortable. I am wearing them now Are you wearing socks today? If so, what kind/color are they?

I did not wear socks yesterday, and so far not today, but I am in my night clothes still. I like the big soft fluffy ones for bed. I prefer thinner anklet type socks for work. I do not have the same issues you do. I wore soft slippers all day yesterday. Outdoor shoes but they have a memory foam liner. Other times I wear sturdy shoes with an orthotic that makes my legs and back feel best.

@simone10 Sometimes my soles burn, but I don´t know when will it happen and when will it end. It has nothing to do with heat.

You must wear whatever makes you comfortable. I only wear ankle socks when I wear sneakers for exercise, walking, golf, or tennis. Mine are white with colored trim or pom-poms.

I like to wear socks even in summer to keep the feet from getting too hot mainly I use soft longer socks in the freezing cold like now. Those are nice socks does not matter if they have christmas trees on them.

If they are soft, warm and comfortable and do the job they're intended to do, then the Christmas trees don't matter at all.

@simone10 That is not good that you can barely walk. I have two very warm ones that I wear now in winter. I sleep in sock both in summer and winter.

I am wearing yes! The low thin socks are my favorites, I can wear them with my sneakers and it looks like I don't wear any socks.

Who cares what's on them, so long as they keep your feet cozy warm when you need them to, right? I AM wearing socks, and while I like to be bare foot, during the winter time I NEVER am. I even sleep in socks. Just white ones. Well, some of them have gray on the soles and the toes. But mostly just white socks.

I rarely wear socks, only when I have to go somewhere, the doctor advised me to walk barefoot for circulation. Otherwise I have a circulation problem

@myklj999 does Lyrica help? I was on it years ago for something else and it caused me to gain a lot of weight so i stopped it. I am on gabapentin right now. It worked great in the beginning but i am now at the max dose.
