Have you heard about Infinity Rose? This evening I was watching a show called Galileo. It was showing about Infinity Rose. A Rose that will last longer than 1 to 3 years. In the show, a huge Rose glass house in the Netherlands was shown with thousands of roses planted. They also showed how they conserved the roses to let them stay fresh looking for a year or more. One Infinity Rose costs at least 30€. Very expensive but at least you will have a rose for the whole year or more. Would you like to buy this conserved Rose or you prefer to have a fresh one which will be rotten after a week? The roses in the photo was taken in a garden in one of the castles in the Netherlands.

Wait so it blooms and stays blooming that long so for years at a time you can go and you will always see fresh blooms on it?

The Swiss store Manor sells infinity roses, it is 10 Swiss Franc each, a lot cheaper here.

@thelme55 9.50 € more or less, the Swiss Francs has gained a lot of value against the Euro.

I wonder what process they use to conserve them for so long? I can see the photo. A pretty rose.

They put glycerin on it and other chemicals to keep it looking good @garymarsh6. The rose in the photo is from the garden in the Netherlands. Thank you.

Do you mean the flowers last a year or more? It's a very pretty flower.

Yes, it lasts that long because they put some chemicals to last it longer than it should be. That one in the photo is a real rose @JudyEv

I never had one, too @DianneN. I would not mind having one but I won´t buy it myself. I would love the fresh roses in pots I don't even know where to order them. We will just wait that Cupid will not forget us to send this infinity rose for Valentines Day.

The infinity rose is a conserved rose that will last up to 3 years. I prefer to buy an alive rose pot where I can harvest the petals and make them into rose water for cleansing my face. Thank you @LindaOHio
