Eat out or in?

I used to eat out a lot
I remember eating out when I was still single. Sometimes I regret having done so. I still had my mom at the time. I should've given her the money to cook for me. It would've been great if I'd done that. Now I have my own family and there is no more eating out except my family want to eat out together. What about you? Do you prefer eating in?

It seems that everything is so expensive in your country.

@yanzalong Yes, everything is expensive in this country, you cannot spend less than 40$ to eat out (for two), when you can eat at home cooking yourself and spend less than 2$. The salaries are high here.

@yanzalong
I prefer eating at home to save money and that I only want to eat out on special occasions.

That's a good preference. When we go out to eat, my money burns a hole in your pocket.

I like eating out on occasion. We'll usually have a meal out once a month with friends. Other than that, we only really go out for special occasions. Apart from not having a car (and there aren't many nice restaurants around here that are accessible without a car), it's expensive to eat out. Most of the time, I'd rather eat at home. I am quite happy to cook, and I have complete control over what's in my food. It also means it's more of a treat when we do go out.

Yes, especially when you have lots of money, eating out is no problem at all.
