Democracy is considered as People's Government, however truth is that, it is Vote-Bank's government.
The stronger the vote bank, the worst for those who are not into it.
Disabled, orphan, leprosy effected, poor, disaster effected already have nothing but they need support. However Government and even Court are in favour of those, who have strong base and can even riot.
Needy People cannot riot, and this has become their biggest weakness. Needy people are on the mercy of authorities, it depends on authorities to either help them or punish them for daring to request.
But vote bank ("Dalit") can make your Fundamental right rejected.

Very true indeed. many countries run that system. They call themselves democratic but the way they treat the people is that they are slaves that they can control. They maintain to put the poor down there always so they can control them since middle class and the upper class once they will have a voice is a threat to all governments.

The reality is indeed harsh and can't be changed. Though times are changing but at a very slow speed.
