I've been a bad boy about reading posts over the past few days. Been busy with work, music and hiking. But I promise to get back on track tomorrow, when I have a day off. I did get a pair of speakers in for restoration this past weekend. They're KLH 6s, really nice walnut-clad speakers from 1968 or so. I'll charge $100 for the restoration. I'll attach a picture or two when I "develop" (upload) them. Any pleasant surprises in your life recently?

. No biggie, but we discovered the "new" lemon flavor Girl Scout cookies are much better than the previous lemon ones they've had - that was a nice surprise.

It really is. A part of me wants to try dressing up like a hobo and cleaning peoples' headlights for $20/pop. I want to see if I could pull it off, and also see how much I'd make in a day. No shame or pride here.

Got my salary today. Pleasant, but hardly a surprise. Not getting it would have been a quite nasty surprise. And we got sun yesterday! After the last days of rain, that was a surprise. Sun and an extremely high tide.

No big surprises, but last Friday the supermarket allowed us to pay with the points we got on our supermarket card. I bought home my food for a total of around 50$ and pay nothing in cash.

@TheHorse One store sends cash vouchers at home, this supermarkets allow you to "pay with points", that is the same thing than to give you cash.

I had a fun day with the kids and got called into work tomorrow. Nothing spectacular. I correct myself. One of my kids, a girl of 2 1/2, was reading the letters on my sweatshirt and correctly identifying them. I had no idea she knew her letters.
