Monday there was a two hour delay. We are supposed to get a storm overnight and I’m hoping for another day to be able to sleep in.
There was an awards assembly at school Tuesday and my daughter won $15. She isn’t sure why.
Monday I babysat my niece a half day. Tuesday and today I had her full days but Tuesday she took a nap.
Finished watching “13 reasons why” season 3 which I loved! I watched two movies that weren’t that good “Gone” and “Saving Zoe”.
Tuesday and today after school my son and nephew played video games and went to the playground to play basketball.
My dad went to the doctor for his blood pressure which has been high and found out he has high cholesterol too. His level was 570.
Yesterday I used my points on Crowdtap to request a $5 Amazon e-giftcard which arrived today.
I made three new recipes the past few days bringing my total for the year to #27. Surprise surprise... I didn’t like any of them.

@shaggin we must have been too happy or something, why do we keep forget the past like this . (I try to write down things too, almost like keeping a journal/diary, but that takes time. Sometimes I resort to do it every few months to remind myself of important events.)

@YrNemo I used to write in a diary every night from about 7 years to 21. After having kids I spent my time at night listening things for sale on eBay and coming to mylot, my space then Facebook. So writing all those places I stopped writing in my diary.

@LadyDuck I hope he can get his number lower by changing his diet. He also has to go to a doctor to get a medicine to take for it. Lipitor would be my guess. My children’s father had to take that when he was in his 20s.
I’m glad you at least felt the recipes you tried were okay. I’m crossing my fingers the two I try today will be good.

@rakski vegans don't eat eggs or use milk products. There is more to it though so here's a link to with more information about it :
There’s a clear difference between vegan and vegetarian, but both plant-based approaches can yield health benefits.

Do you know the normal level of cholesterol? I am just curious with that 570.

@Alexandoy I asked him that too I said is that good or bad. He said the doctors don’t like it to be over 100 something. 150 maybe I can’t remember the exact number he said.

@shaggin oh, 150 is too far from 570. I asked because I was not sure if it is 100 or 120 as the normal.

Surprised because you didn't like them? The recipes? I've read a few where you've tried different things but I don't remember that you didn't like many but I'm guessing that's what you mean.

@Marshamusselman I've only actually liked 9 out the 30 recipes I've tried I think most people who see how rarely I like the food are not surprised at all that I didn't like more.

@shaggin maybe you need to try recipes that contain ingredients you enjoy more? Maybe you're already doing that, I don't know.

@FayeHazel thank you!
My dad said the doctor said as we get older our blood pressure naturally gets higher so it's normal that at his age and how long he's been on the blood pressure medicine that he has to now take a higher dose.

@shaggin Oh that's interesting. I didn't know that age had anything doing with blood pressure

I thought Gone was interesting, but as usual the book was better. Your doggy is so cute.

@misunderstood_zombie looking it up the book I don't think is what goes to this movie. The movie is from 2012 and stars Amanda Seyfried.
