First Calvin and Hobbes

United States

I know that the image picture isn't Calvin and Hobbes, but I couldn't find any free images, so I thought this one would be amusing. I just read the first Calvin and Hobbes (free on Openlibrary), and even though it's good, I think his later comics are better. The first book was published in 1987 and the series ending in 95. The creator, Bill Watterson, suddenly quit, stating he achieved all he could in the world of comics (goodreads). He has over 20 books and I want to read them in order to see if they get better or am I just imagining things.

It's good that he improved over time, sad that he chose to stop doing these but it makes sense that he felt there wasn't anything left for him to do w/ the series. Maybe that's better than dragging it out and not enjoying the creation

I’ve got a pdf copy of Calvin and Hobbes. I forgot the source where I downloaded it from. It was a long time ago and to be honest I haven’t started reading it yet.

Thanks for your post! We all go through that nostalgia moment when we get old and we always find ways to remember those good memories back when we were young and from this post, those comics surely i bet had good memories with you.

I hope you find them and can read them in order. Usually, books get better. I know mine have.
