Is your mouth lonely?

Have you ever felt like you wanna eat something but you’re not actually hungry? Key word is NOT hungry. It’s like you wanna put food in your mouth out of boredom or something. In Japan, they have this word - kuchisabishii. And this is so me right now. Just had my lunch and yet, I’m kuchisabishii. I know, I know. Not healthy. It’s just that my mouth is lonely. How about you?

May be this is the reason Americans chew gums all the time. My mouth is most of the time lonely and happy to stay lonely.

@kepweng The discussion of JB Girl is about "lonely from food", not because silent.

@sol_cee Italians are not at all fan of chewing gums and it is considered bad manners to chew in public all the time, a polite woman will never do this.

@sol_cee now I remember my uncle who was always chewing gum. Maybe that is one good thing for you to do - chew a gum and lose weight too.

@Alexandoy I know an uncle who quit smoking but had withdrawals so he had to chew gum or eat candy like Snow Bear all the time.

A lonely mouth? lol. Wow, that's some terrible English there. But either way I get the gist of what they are TRYING to say. I think we all eat out of boredom sometimes. It's just something to do, and even if I am not hungry, I can certainly enjoy eating something.

I don’t get that way for food but I do with drinks especially at work. I like having a drink on my desk at all times even if I don’t need it. I think it is more to do with doing something with my hands.

So you can live in Japan. Lots of vending machines selling different kinds of beverages to keep your hands busy.
