Melissa Mathews will most likely tell anyone who appreciates her work as the Central Chapter of the Quilts of Valor which is located in Kissimmee Florida that she is just doing her duty to thank all of the brave men and women who have served in the U S Military throughout the years by having 22 volunteers sew quilts to be given to military veterans who are now retired from active duty. Her project to honor veterans who have served in wars started this year. Melissa's dream is to give veterans who are still alive who have suffered the ill effects of combat duty a quilt to ease their suffering. I am only hoping that her business of sewing quilts is successful not only in Central Florida. I am hoping that her work will inspire others to give back to our military veterans who gave served in the military for our freedoms throughout the world.

I have heard that many veterans are even homeless. Ms. Matthews is certainly doing a good job.

That is true that many veterans of wars who suffer from depression and stress are homeless.

Making those quilts for the Veterans is a nice thing for her to do. I bet the volunteers enjoy what they are doing to.
