I just realized that I have to go to pain management Tuesday for injections in my lower back. I am not looking forward to it. The last time I had it done, it was a different pain management and it hurt really bad. I think they didn't let the numbing medication work before they gave me the injections. I am really nervous about it.

When you go in this time, definitely make sure you let them know about your discomfort last time, and how nervous you are this go-around. They may make note of that and look for ways to make you more comfortable this time. Good luck with the injections.

@moffittjc It really was better. The doctor was gentle and talked to me the whole time telling me what to expect.

@simone10 That is good to hear. Sounds like the new place is much better than the previous place.

I hope it goes well. I didn't like getting the injections either. I don't get them anymore.

Hopefully you can tell them and they will be more careful.
