Spring is springing I think

Yeah, I really think it is but we'll also get a cold day here and there until around mid April.
Now I know that my idea of cold might not be what you think of as cold but for this desert during the day 40s and 50s Fahrenheit are considered cold by those of us you have lived here most of their lives.
At night, well more like the wee hours of the morn, it can sometimes drop into the single digits but even that is very rare and few of us are ever really prepared for that here.
Well, I'm closing this post with a little humor, hope you enjoy:

That would be a heatwave here. We got 50s last year for a couple of days. The sudden snowmelt caused flooding that didn't recede for many months.
Enjoy your weather. We're on the cold end of the spectrum. It's dipping down to subzero tonight.

Whales? That doesn't sound like any polar bears I've read about @nanette64

@rebelann And did you hear about Antarctica? They had temps in the 60's. The Polar Bears have had to figure out a new way to get their food since the ice is depleting. They swim out onto rocks and wait for whales to come close; then dive in to get them.

Same here. I remember in Feb 2011 it got down to 2f in the early hours of the morning, thankfully I was under the covers.

Yeah, during the cold months of late December through April it can get way cold in the wee hours of the morn.
