Last night I only got 1 hour of sleep. So this morning when the kids got up at 7am. Of course the 5 year old kept waking from the time I went to sleep to 7am. I was exhausted and cranky and cranky moms are no fun. My husband hearing me all hostel this morning decided to get up and sit with the kids downstairs and let me sleep till noon. That’s when he went upstairs and went to sleep. I thanked him for it because he has work tonight and I’m solo till tomorrow afternoon when the kids get out of school.

It's been a long time since I've had a night in which I only got one or two hours of sleep. But when I used to have that problem every so often, I hated it, as I knew I'd be half a sleep the next day.

@ShyBear88 Actually, I need my full eight hours to feel awake the next day. Even seven hours of sleep usually isn't enough for me, for some reason.

@MainerMikeBrown most people need 8 or more. My kids are roughly about 9-12 hours. When your a parent you don’t always get the sleep you want you get what you get.

He gets it. I’m an light sleeper and he is a heavy sleeper he wouldn’t know unless I wake him in the first place.
