Back home from work......

I finished my work at both schools and I am back. Feeling a bit tired. Will have my lunch after some time of relaxation. I am sipping tender coconut water and it feels so refreshing. It's getting warm here. I have no appetite for lunch. I had a heavy breakfast and had watermelon for mid morning snacks. I might skip my lunch and have early dinner with the same leftovers.
The day at work was productive. My child was upset yesterday as his dad was not keeping well and mom brought him to school on a two wheeler. He comes with Dad in car in morning and goes back by school transport. That change in his schedule was the trigger for his meltdown and behavior issues. Today he was much better. I guess parents didn't feel the need of getting him ready for the change. We should be careful about such things when it's Autism. Even a slight change can trigger the stress.
I will take some rest. The other parent is picking up my daughter and so I am relaxed. It's Tuesday and so no more classes for my daughter in the evening. I have no more driving to do for today.
I want to take a good rest and do some reading and research for the child I am assessing in other school. I read a lot yesterday and that kept me away from mylot. I have gone through all my notes and diaries where I keep account of my work and handling such children. I have found few things that might help the child. I need to just compile them and present it to parents and teacher as a program for him. I hope it works for him.

You are doing great job with these children. I know how difficult it is to work with them. I know at least two of these children whom their parents bring to my shop sometimes. One of them is big boy of age around 18 seemingly very normal talks very nicely to me but as per his father his every wish has to be fulfilled other wise he is so wild that goes out of control. He likes to eat but his father wants to control his eating as his weight is increasing day by day.

@arunima25 This particular boy is just short of obese because of his height. The parents take great care of him.

Thank you. I like my job and I am passionate about it. It's challenging to be with these children but once you accept them they really take you in their inner circle. They teach you some real precious lessons of life.
The case you mentioned is a quite common scenario. Parents sometimes give up and fail to draw a line. Handling these children needs a firm, polite and consistent way. They get manuplative and throw tantrums to get their wish fulfilled. And most of them love to eat uncontrollably and tend to get obese
