Lemon tree, very pretty

I bought a nice lemon that I fancy the seeds to be planted. When the seedlings appear, I would choose maybe 2 or 3 for potting. I know that lemon plant from the seed takes a longer time to bear fruits unlike the marcotted plant. This is another challenge and a sort of experiment.

Everyone in the district seems to have a lemon tree so we haven't planted our own. I hope yours sprout and grow quickly.

I wish you the best of luck, but you already have a green thumb! My father grew lemon trees from seeds.

Good luck on that. I am not a green thumb kind of person. Although I love to plant but they do not grow well with me. Unlike my Grandfather who has the skills of growing plants quite easy. Everything he plants grows well and thrives fast.

Thank you. Although people say I have the proverbial green thumb, I don't subscribe to it. My take is if you love plants then plants would love you back.

My kind of attitude! Do you have to let the seeds dry before you plant them? Or can you plant them straight away?

The seeds can be planted right away but for me, it is better to be dried for a better effect in germination.
