I'm not perfect, not by a long shot but I do everything I can to help people. I have literally given my last penny to those who needed it. Even when I'm sick I will walk in the snow, rain or whatever weather to help whoever needs it. I've given the clothes off my back. I give advice to those who ask for it. I put my kids and everybody elses happyness and health before mine.
Do I sound like a stuck up selfish person?
I will always be there for whoever needs me to be, even if I can't be there in person I'm always there. That goes for all my mylot friend also.

@RebeccasFarm we are so much alike. I got out of a 12yr relationship where I was cheated on for 10 of the 12yrs, he even got his ex pregnant when I was pregnant with my eldest daughter. Now because where I was living almost fell in I'm living with my ex and the woman he cheated on me with... Not the best situation but my kids needed a place to live so here I am.

The sad truth is that we will never be enough for the people that do not appreciate us. People will always see something wrong with what we do even though we have the best intentions.

I have been called selfish and yet I have never turned anybody down when they needed help. If I couldn't get them money or clothes I found a way for them to make money or found them free clothing banks. It hurts when you try your hardest and they don't appreciate the effort.

Thank you for sharing, And i totally agree with everyone who responded over this discussion post that No! you are not a stuck up selfish person. It just goes to show that you are sensible and really empathetic to people who are in need even though it means you don't give any credit in return. Be good and you will totally get the good in return. It may not be today, but God has planted his light over your goodness. You'll be surprised that one day all the hard effort you put in will be paid off. Have a great day.
