Day 197 Promise 255 Psalm 130:7 Let Israel hope in the LORD: for with the LORD there is mercy, and with him is plenteous redemption. 8 And he shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities. (KJV) Where is your hope? Whom do you trust? The psalmist knew God was the only one to give him hope. He knew God would redeem His people and bring them salvation. When you know that you know, nothing will persuade you otherwise. You will live your life in that hope and one day you might see your hope fulfilled. As Christians, you know God kept His promise to redeem His people when He sent His Son, Jesus, to earth as a baby, to live and experience everything you do so you could associate with Him, and you know He died for you to bridge the gap between you and God. Hebrews 4:15 For we have not a high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. 16 Let us, therefore, come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. Jesus is your Savior, Redeemer, Hope, Strength, and soon coming King. Just as God fulfilled His promise to redeem Israel and everyone who puts their faith and trust in Him, Jesus promised to return. When He does, He will fulfill the promise to redeem Israel from all its sins. God has never left His people out of His purpose for their salvation and redemption. Let’s pray: Father, You are my hope and my salvation. You are my strength and my Redeemer. Let me come boldly to Your throne of grace for mercy and forgiveness in my time of need.
