Hi, this may be not right time to ask this. As this is a sleeping time. But I do listen music sometimes to get a sleep.
In which way music helps you in your day-to-day life. For example when I stay alone at home I play some music to give me do sort of sounds not to feel alone
Hope different people have their own experience and own way. So do share your thoughts with us here.

@ExplorewtMe Yes in part, because sometimes when I feel nostalgic I want music that encourages me .. fun music, dancing, or it happens when you're in love looking to hear something romantic haha

To quote the Doobie Brothers, "music is the doctor of my soul!" I have always regarded a song that speaks to you - especially when no one else understands - as being like a good friend.
You discussion also reminded me of this meme:

Music is a getaway for me. There are times I feel really tired, and listening to a song makes me feel good. Music helps me to feel less tired at times.
