1. Getting to hear a NASA Ambassador speak at my parents' church -- My parents are in a group at their church called the "Prime Timers." While the group mostly consists of retirees, anyone is welcome. This past Tuesday, they had a NASA Solar System Ambassador come and speak, and my parents invited me to the event knowing that I was a NASA space flight enthusiast. He spoke of the history of manned spaceflight, and chronicled the US plan to return to the moon within the next year or two. It was an awesome presentation, and we got to chat some with him afterwards. 2. Getting a month's supply of my favorite sleep aid for free (it's usually about $18 per container) -- I love this particular sleep aid more than plain melatonin because it actually helps me to STAY asleep for 7-9 hours at night. 3. Cuddling with my heated mattress pad and my cat Garth during these cold winter nights. 4. Starting to get my old personal website back up -- I originally got this website when I was still in high school back in 2001 as a birthday present, and maintained it as a vehicle for my creative endeavors for about a year. After some difficult years in college, I abandoned the website but did not have the heart to part with the domain name, and therefore kept renewing it. I finally began to revisit it again this week and am starting to finally see new life. So, what have been YOUR simple pleasures this week?

That's awesome! You have a good list. I guess going to a new church this past Sunday and enjoying it was a simple pleasure. Oh, and I got a chai latte cappuccino, and it was the first time I was exposed to this delicious treat.
