Well, I do have a greenish frame the right size, unfortunately it's for a horizontal picture (it has bunnies running around the bottom). But I have an unfinished wood one that'll do.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I haven't checked my stash of matting but I'm pretty sure I don't have any green. Also, I'm trying to use up what I already have (which is way too much stuff).

How long did it take you to do..it's lovely. Not done a cross-stitch for years and in fact a shop that would sell them (in Blackpool, Carlisle isn't very arty) shut down so I wouldn't be able to do one anyway. Still do the colouring though which I enjoy very much.x

I don't really remember, at least a week, maybe two. I didn't work at it steadily. As for not having a shop handy, you can order online, y'know.
