Worldwide count of 2,600 dead and 80,000 contamination worldwide with China's number slowing down. But other countries are showing big numbers. South Korea with 763 contamination, Italy has 229, Iran with 61, UK has 13, Singapore has 40.
WHO is worried that the numbers of contamination may continue to grow.

I've seen this report and it was reported by Doc Willy Ong. He said that the Philippines needs to be vigilant still noting that we don't have reported cases after the ones being reported.

@jobelbojel if you have read the news about the POGO workers, they are all Chinese most came here illegally. That's it.

My suspicion is that there are stragglers, so to speak, they are Chinese patients who are in hiding somewhere in our country. I just hope that my suspicion is wrong.

Sad to see it. Since it seems there is no better way, we shall do some precautions like wearing mask and washing hands frequently. Somewhat it will be helpful to avoid being infected. So far it seems no infected cases in Philippines and Indonesia? I think probably the hot weather can be helpful to avoid the coronavirus?

You are right that there is no worry in our country since until now the reported 2 cases remains. What's worrying me is Italy, South Korea and Iran. They seem to be in panic already.

That is worrying for us that live in the same region as China. My daughter who lives in Singapore now cannot come to Malaysia to visit me because when she goes back, she has to take a two weeks self-imposed quarantine. She can't afford to miss that many working days.

@Alexandoy It is strange that a clean city like Singapore has more infected people than a backward country like Malaysia. Furthermore, Singapore is an island. Shouldn’t the people be more well-protected from viruses such as this?

Yes, countries now have a required quarantine of 14 days for people coming from suspected places. Now the suspected places aside from China are what I had written above.

Alarming indeed.... Good thing ours is not growing. I hope that there will be no local outbreaks in our place since we are unprepared for this to handle with out meager budget against this threat we sure will not be able to contain it if it breaks in our place.

I believe as all countries are made aware of the threat, those numbers will continue to decrease. Precautionary measures are being taken, worldwide. No, I'm not worried.

Afghanistan had blocked entries from Iran. That means it is scary over here. Schools in Iran are suspended and they are implementing a lockdown.
