Hello everyone, how are you all doing? I hope you are doing great.
Yesterday I did not post my food/health journey post. I planned to stay on plan but that is not how things went (who is surprised), but today I was back on track.
My weight did not go all the way back up, but still went up some.
Previous weigh in: 183.2
Today: 186.4
So, I went back up 3.2 pounds.
Blood sugars:
Fasting - 157
Meal 1 - 98
Meal 2 - 105
Meal 3 - 87
My blood sugars were not too bad except for the fasting. I am surprised it wasn't higher since yesterday it was running around 200.
All I know is low carb works!
What did I eat today?
Meal 1 -
2 fried eggs
4 sausage patties
Meal 2 -
Bratwurst (no bun) with mustard & no sugar added ketchup
Meal 3 -
3 ounces of chuck tender steak (I do put a mixture of salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, and paprika on the steak)
1 fried egg
1/2 serving of steak sauce
and used 1 tbsp of butter in the meal (cooking the egg, and put over the meat)
Snack - 1 Low Carb No Bake Peanut Butter bar
Macros -
Calories - 1,183
Protein - 65
Fat - 93
Net Carbs - 16
Percentages: 6% carbs/ 22% Protein / 72% Fat
That is pretty Keto, and almost carnivore (but the steak sauce and my snack don't count).
I think I did pretty good for the day - what do you think?
Also, how did you all do?

Well mine goes up if I eat carbs....but I can't seem to stop going back to them....so am in a much better position? Lol

Hang in there! Weight always seems to go up and down, but your numbers look good!

@wolfgirl569 That's very true....I don't like them scrambled or in omelet form....but most other ways are good. I have just been having them fried lately

I do count them, I was just saying those items were keeping me from being fully carnivore that day. But I do try to count everything!
