The New #20Resolutions for 2020 - Resolution Number One

Hello friends, I'm back again after a rest. In my last post, I was finishing up the year and also closing the book on my "20 by 2020" resolutions. I was able to complete many of them, and at least I made decent headway on most of them. It was a big project, and sometimes it seemed like a burden, yet it also made me much more productive, especially because I made myself publicly accountable. I wanted to do something like it again, but not the same thing.
Most of you agreed that it was good to do something again, but also to change it up. I thought about what I liked and what I didn't like about last year's project. The main thing I didn't like was that all the pressure to do these new things that I imposed upon myself left tons of unfinished projects and items languishing on my to-do list. In a huge "Aha!" moment, I realized that for 2020, I should resolve to complete the 20 items that have been on my to-do list the longest (and believe me, it's a long list, and some of these things have been kicking around for a few YEARS).
I've taken photographs to illustrate each item, so instead of making posts that have a long list on each one, I will make a post for each item and then just do updates on whatever I have accomplished. I realize it's almost the end of February, but no worries; I started last year at the end of March, so I'm ahead of the game already!
Item #1 on this year's list is to finish painting the bay-window triple, above. I have got the masking done and a lot of the first coat painted. I have to complete the first coat, do the caulking, sand it down, paint the second coat, and remove the masking tape and plastic, and then I will have a lovely view into my back yard again.

#1 is quite the little project. You will have accomplished much if you finish that one!

Yes, our roses are starting to bloom, and it would be nice to see them more clearly.
