Here is your $2 Credit

United States
February 28, 2020 7:20pm CST
I got an email the other day from Vudu they said i could get $2.00 in credit towards my next rental if I watch one of their free movies or tv shows that was leaving this month. I watched Norm of The North which was a really cute movie about a polar bear in the artic that could speak "human". He ended up saving his home from being inundated with human houses. When he got home, he was crowned as King of the Artic! I got the $2.00 credit in my email today. I have a few ideas of what I might use it for / towards. If you are using Vudu, make sure you check your email, they do these types of promotions every once in awhile.

It's a walmart streaming service, so probably not. I've been following the Corona Virus more the past few days. More and more cases across the world, and Trump thinks it's more like the Flu and it will go away in April. What is Switzerland doing to get everyone ready? Any of your family impacted?

@LadyDuck Yes, I know that Italy has been hit heavily with cases. It is a dangerous situation here in the US because Trump got rid of things that Obama and Bush had put in place to keep us safe and on task with outbreaks like this. He (Trump) also seems to think that this is like the common cold. I've seen people on my facebook share things that make me cringe. They seem to make a joke out of this outbreak as if it isn't so serious. One of the national tv journalists has covered the virus on her show nearly every night last week. She has had people come in to tell her that there may not be enough ventilators across the US. Our own testing kit was faulty so they had to re-do one. We have community spread in two counties in California. Trump put Pence in charge of the outbreak response.

@ScribbledAdNauseum It is more serious than people can imagine. Those who are more affected need to be put in special sections of hospital (where they will not contaminate the others) and need ventilation. In Milan there is only one hospital ready to take care of them and they are almost out of beds. The situation is very bad in Italy, but people who want to be examined (they do this in tents) pay nothing, this is also important.

I got an e-mail from amazon saying that I'm getting 4 cents back from something I ordered. Not sure I can see the point in returning those 4 cents to me, they could save everything under 5 or 10 cents and give it to some charity instead. With $2.00 you can get something, and if you get it for watching a movie that's great.

@ScribbledAdNauseum It's the first time I've bought anything there for ages, but it would have made more sense to just set my account +4 cents since it's such a small amount. It's weird that they don't know how much it costs when they ship it.

@Torunn I know sometimes the cost of shipping can change, but I don't know that that was why they give you the four cents.

Or they could give it to you on a gift card. I feel like that would cost them less money to do... I got 39 cents back from amazon when I ordered that book a week ago.

I like their service. I think if you buy a movie from walmart, lots of them have vudu codes on the back.

It's likely that it's only available in the US and Canada. It's a service via Walmart.

It has lots of movies and t.v. shows. It's just another rental service with lots of free movies and television shows. Affiliated with walmart.

This will just go towards a rental purchase (movie), but they have rentals anywhere from $2.99 to $5.99, so maybe I can find something for $2.99 and just pay 99 cents.
