Meet Claudia

Claudia Rhedey, the Hungarian countess, was born here, in the Rhedey Castle I work as a tourist guide.
She was considered a very beautiful lady and she had many suitors. But she married the German prince Alexander von Württemberg. Her life was filled with huge passion, romance and tragedy, as she died at 29, leaving 3 children and a devastated husband behind.
Her granddaughter was Mary Victory of Teck, the wife of George V., the king of Great Britain.
Because of this, there is a connection between the Rhedey Castle and the British Royal family. This connection attracts visitors to the castle.
We have made a modern exhibition, which connects 4 cultures and uses elements from the past and current technology.
I hope that our castle will get to be known and more and more tourists will come to visit us and find out about the life of the beautiful Claudia.

I think your job is so interesting! It seems that you enjoy it very much.
I am fascinated with castles and the history of the families who lived in them. I hope to visit European castles someday!

It is a very nice job, as I meet people from all around the world. And I have made some friends thanks to this and also I met influential people.
