I am really happy Nico started using his "new" bed

I am not sure if I talked about it on here or not, but Nico finally starting utilizing the wonderful bed, I got him for Christmas. It just took him hmm, like 2.5 months! I didn't want to talke it back, because that is the way cats are, they kind of have to get used to things on their own. I put it in a large box in the sun, and hoped for the best. About two weeks ago, I noticed he was lying in it, and today again, he was making use of it. Way to go Nico, So glad you are enjoying it finally!!!

That is right! My sister bought beds for her cats, and took them back because they weren't using them. She should have just given them a chance.

Yes, I sprinkled catnip in it, I put my shirt in it, I tried putting treats in it. Nothing worked until he decided months later it was a good place to nap!

Glad he is enjoying his bed now! You are absolutely right about cats having to get used to things on their own.
I am actually in the process of ordering some catnip spray to see if it will help my cats (one of them in particular -- he's "all boy") learn to scratch in the right places!

I bought a bed for my previous dog, and he never liked it. He would only sit in it, if you told him to. He preferred the cat bed.

Yes, he had to decide it looked comfy. He loves the bed the dog uses when he comes down..but that is a relatively recent thing too.

Sometimes it takes cats a while to get used to things we buy for them. I am glad you likes it . I am so happy to read that he is getting used to his bed.

Lol. Dozer outgrew his bed in about a week. Then we built him a custom one using a crib mattress
