Favorite At Home Workouts

March 3, 2020 8:30am CST
There's somedays that I can't make it outside or to the gym, so I have to make do at home when it comes to working out. I do have Just Dance as well as Cize, but sometimes I don't feel like a heavy cardio workout with dancing. My favorite go-to's are squats, crunches, and wall sits - mainly because you can adjust them to add more weight and they don't usually get boring. I make sure that I do several reps/minutes of each daily anyway, but I enjoy incorporating them into another workout. I have two dogs that love to be around me constantly and I use them to add weight, or other household items. What's your favorite at home workout?

@alaskah Oh I love her workouts. And some of her healthy recipes are my favorites. I was following her a few years ago and most workouts are very challenging. Another interesting channel is popsugar, have you tried it?

@alaskah I do a walking exercise on the computer and do my own exercises 3 times a day and walk when I can.

I have a Wii that I use to "walk" on cold days. We're thinking about getting the Nintendo Switch for a few of their games and possibly a treadmill.

I mainly do my yoga, meditation, crunches and squats here. Though I have weights at home, I feel more motivated to use them in gym.

@alaskah Our gym is free for residents of the apartment. If you join some exercise classes like aerobic, zumba etc. Or need a personal trainer, you have to pay. We have few yoga classes and that too are free.

I love yoga! I use to have a gym membership but they increased the prices so I do most of my workouts at home. I definitely understand being more motivated at the gym!
