what do you think of the aborted 'if i did it' series by oj simpson?

i think that this would hurt the families that have had to deal with the loss and the reason it was aborted was they may have been afraid of being sued

You are right although the backlash from the public itself would have been disastrous for the network.thankfully common sense prevailed although it has been said that the authorities may step in to review some of the regulations governing the media.i think even america is beginning to realise that there is a limit to freedom of speech etc etc.
