A recap of my Dinner: Filipino Food

Filipino Food

What better way to end the night but to give a recap on my dinner menu that I and my family devour earlier whilst at downtown and eating out. These are all Filipino food and are only available here in the Philippines. That if you want to try the recipe and cook it on your own or… If you have a Filipino Restaurant nearby, Please do try it when you can dine there *winks. From left to right we have: Kinilaw, Chicken Inasal with Atchara and White Rice, and Lomi For my Foreign myLotters who aren’t familiar with these dish here are the information about it: Kinilaw is a a raw seafood dish it’s our own version of Ceviche’ Chicken Inasal is a grilled chicken dish that's marinated with a mixture of soy sauce, calamansi lemon, pepper, coconut vinegar, and sometimes barbeque sauce. It's grilled over hot coal and is served with rice. Atchara on the other hand, is a type of Sweet and Sour Papaya pickled. Lomi is a type of Filipino chicken noodle soup. Raw egg is added to the broth making it almost similar in texture to egg drop soup. It's also mixed with vegetables such as cabbage and carrots. So there you have it, my dinner recap. What’s for dinner guys? (Photo by yours truly )

It looks so great. I miss eating that kind of dishes. My dinner is always simple since I`m on a diet just plain sausages and potato salad

Chicken Inasal is a favorite. Last night's dinner was steamed buns with meat filling.

I had a sirloin steak, baked potato and a broccoli/carrots and squash medley plus a slice of carrot cake--we ate out at the Outback Steakhouse!
