Attended assembly but no early bird reward

Despite the coronavirus phenomenon we were not stopped from holding our cooperative's annual general assembly. This is the most awaited time of every member because this will be the time that their interest on share is distributed, our share for this year is higher than the previous year. We are also given our patronage refund for patronizing our products and services. The early birds were given 200 pesos or $4 dollars. I arrived at the venue at 6 in the morning so I was not given an early bird reward. Yes arriving at 6 in the morning is already late because the members started queuing up at 4:00 in the morning while I was still soundly asleep. The program started at 8 in the morning.

@florelway cooperative is very good for the common people especially if it deals with consumer products that are sold cheaper aside from the earnings that the member gets.

@Alexandoy yes it's an open coop. For members its tax free, interest from our savings and earnings from our capital and patronage refund are tax free. For the coop it's taxable after 10 million reserve funds. We also have our own cooperative at our LGU with less than 200 membership.Though I put some money in my bank account more of it are invested in cooperatives because I get to get back the interest paid on my loans.

Wow. Just not your luck, late comer of a bird. Never mind, at least your beauty sleep was complete. Thanks for reminding me that in the provinces the days begin before dawn.

Beauty sleep is more important, but the thrill of getting one is also exciting. Had I known they started very early I should have moved earlier and did an early walk around the park.

I have trouble waking up at 7:30. It would be harsh to wake up so early.

@florelway I, usually go to sleep at midnight. I sleep around 7,30-8 hours per night, and most of the days, 2-3 hours afternoon.

I am encouraging you to join. Where is your place, Our cooperative has branches nationwide. Our share on capital is 8.25 percent so if your share is 100k multiply that by 8.25 percent better than the bank because it is tax free. In addition to the share on capital one is also entitled to a refund by patronizing the products, like interest on loans. The more you borrow money the more patronage refund you get.

It is actually very interesting that they conducted the annual assembly outdoor.

The reason for conducting it outside is to accommodate everyone comfortably. One of the branches held it in an indoor place inside a big mall but members complained that the air conditioning unit is insufficient.

You better line up starting at 3 next time. . Good news you will be having a higher dividend this time. Although I want to also invest in HDMF members program2 because the offer higher dividend that is tax free and mature within 5 years. Dividend can be withdrawn yearly or you can just let it stay there and earn interest as well until maturity date.

Yes I will do that lol. I still prefer putting some money in this cooperative because my money is not tied up for a long time. I get my dividend every year plus my patronage refund and can also apply for loans. Most of all it is very convenient because it is located in our place.
