Where's the loo paper?

There is a lot of talk nowadays about toilet paper and today – there was none in our toilet! It was all my husband’s fault. Vince had a ‘challenge’ on a photographic FB site. The challenge was ‘something that makes you happy’. He piled up all our toilet rolls and took a photo of them. He was going to pack it all away later. But, before he packed it away, I went to the toilet, did what I had to do and …. Lo and behold, there is no toilet paper on the holder. Luckily I was able to yell loud enough for him to hear and bring me some.

We have in the basement 2 48 rolls packages and some rolls stores in the different cabinets of the bathrooms. It seems that my husband is obsessed with the fear we could run out of it.

@LadyDuck We don't have that much. I'm not sure how long this will last us.

At least he was home to help you with your bathroom dilemma. Toilet paper does seem to be a topic lately since people are stocking up due to the Corona Virus.

Stores in our Eastern states have run out but it's more a question of supply as the paper is made in Australia.

Things would have been fine had you not done the deed but luckily your husband was there who bailed you out of the situation as he could hear your voice and do the needful for you to come out of the toilet.

True. I don't know why he didn't leave the one roll on the holder - but all's well that ends well.

I just hate when that happens. So I have a couple of rolls nearby, ready for the worst occasion. Your husband was a meanie!

We usually have one the holder and another two or three on an upright holder on the floor but he'd taken the whole lot!!

I shouldn't need to look first. There is always (well, usually) one on the holder and another two or three on a wooden holder on the floor. But I got caught well and truly.

Good thing, he didn't go out of the house. I am one person who always need toilet paper even when I am just at my office table. I use it ti wipe my table of dust , to wipe my eyes because i have dry eyes and to blot my lipstick and also to wipe my hands.
