A friend of mine has me to help her write a cover letter and resume in English. We worked together at a synagogue-affiliated preschool in Berkeley, and had a great time together.
She was born in Israel, and speaks both Hebrew and English fluently, but she is not fully comfortable with her writing in English.
I actually enjoy helping friends with stuff involving writing. Have you even been a "ghost writer" for others, or at least a helper? I actually did a lot of "ghost writing" when I worked at the mother-and-child drug rehab program in Oakland. A surprising number of people who worked there could hardly write a complete English sentence themselves.

I remember doing the same thing right from my college days. In fact I have written I have written around 20-30 CV's for all my classmates when we were in the final year and getting ready to face interview, this feels really good too, I can figure.

@TheHorse Not exactly a major in English but I like the language right from the age of 12 before that I didn't had much idea about the language but since class 7 I started working on learning the language even deeper and tried to speak it out as best as I could and this is how I somewhat got a grip on the language of English.

@TheHorse Now that you suggested, may be I could do it in Hindi. Just that I do not know how to type in Hindi. All credits to you, I swear...
More seriously, are you keen to use editing on grammarly. While I cannot share the password, I could send screenshots of what grammarly points at...or if you would rather I correct it, I would.

It is great to help others in something we are skilled with. I did a refurbish of my resume recently, but looks like I would have to learn a new IT skill for better results!
It is tough when one is more experienced.

I am like Apollo, I used to help other classmates write their reports while I was in college. I never wrote anyones entire report for them, all I did was help them. Although there were those that really needed help with their writing skills, there were also those that wanted help because they were to lazy to do research on the topic they were writig about. These are the ones that wanted you to do all the work for them.
