I Have Discovered Something New

Yes, I did. You know that a few days ago, I bought pansy flowers. I bought them in golden yellow, white and violet. You know what? This flower is edible. I have just found it out when I was reading some garden plants in my main writing site. Pansy petals are edible as well as the stamen, pistil, and sepals. Pansy flowers can be added to my salad and my cakes as well. Well, good for decoration. Did you know that? Now, I want to buy pansy seeds so I can plant them and harvest the flowers for my salad. I want to be sure that what I am eating has no chemicals. Do you know other flowers which are edible? Thanks for reading. Have a lovely Friday or weekend everyone. I am happy to know about the pansy

Those look wonderful. I think there are some other edible flowers too. Yet I would have to research a bit. Yet before using these flowers, perhaps you need them to be washed thoroughly.

I don't know which flowers are edible, but I have seen edible flowers on cake - so pretty! I know when we got our wedding cake on an island, there was an option to have organic edible flowers, but we didn't do it.

I think I heard that hibiscus flower is also good to be included in salads. Maybe there should be a study about flowers that are edible.
