While everyone is talking of coronavirus another organism in wings is multiplying in inconceivable numbers. With the departure of winter, and a few showers of rain we see hordes of mosquitoes hovering over any bush outside and in any corner in the house. They are carriers of more than one disease. Not very far times in the past malaria and dengue gave enough pain to human population. I hope they don't return with vengeance.

In my country, we are also currently swapped with mosquitoes. Worse when some of these mosquitoes currently carries Dengue virus.

They surely do but India is yet to have any comprehensive program to eradicate this menace. On the contrary cities have given them favorable breeding places.
