Getting a little paranold

I think the news has started making me as well as others I'm sure a little paranold about catching the virus! When I heard there was two people that tested positive I SC, although it still has to be confirmed by Disease Control and Prevention,I figured I better go get some toilet paper before everyone made a mad dash to the stores and buy all of it, since I was almost out. After I left the store, I was on the way home and started thinking "Oh Lord, someone might of had the virus and used my buggy,or someone might have handled something I bought and put it back that has it!" I was so paranold by the time I got home that the first thing I did was go to the sink and wash my hands and face with hot soapy water, then went out and wiped down my steering wheel and door handle. Then I finally unloaded what I got from the store, but I still throw all the bags away that the stuff came in! So yea, I'd say it has made me a little paranold! What do you think!

Oh yea, I think that's why I was feeling that way, it was like, Lord help me , I hope I don't get that thing! lolI think the main reason is, I do smoke, yes I know I need to stop, but I've been smoking for so long it's really hard to quit.. So I know it would be really bad if I got it.

It is good to stay calm. We have one confirmed case here but i think still it is not time to panic.

What is the difference between corona virus and the regular flu? Almost nothing, so there is no reason to get paranoid. Regular flu kills lots of people, even in my area, and nobody created panic because of it.

Your right, I found that out yesterday when I was reading about the flu. There are huge amounts of people that die from the flu every year and no one says anything.

@sweetashoney Probably, the fear of unknown is higher than usually and added to the hysteria created by the media has worsened the situation.

Do not need to be scare. Do your things. Ensure that you do not go to places with lots of people, rest at home and go to the clinic if you are not well and all should be fine.

With two more territories added to the list of states already infected in India, It has made a bigger dent here. But there is no problem of availability of toilet papers and other materials considered vital to fight the disease here in India.

@sweetashoney Here most of the people use cloth handkerchief in their pocket rather than tissue paper and production of the material is very large. Your stores have to depend on Chinese products.

There are 2 cases here right in our town. Why feel panic? I told everyone at home that if we are careful then we cannot catch the virus. It is just like the common cold or flu that if we avoid people then we are safe.

I think what made me start getting a little paranold was as I was about to leave the store, the woman that checked me out said there were two confirmed cases right near my area. I was thinking oh crap it's getting closer! lol Come to find out, that wasn't true!

It is normal to be concern about health issues. Taking precautions as advised by health authorities is all we can do. Being paranoid won't help the situation.

It's not only you but I have seen many people are afraid of this particular word itself that whenever they hear someone uttering some words related to coronavirus, they become concerned and drop into the conversation asking if there has been any new case or someone has been diagnosed or not. So basically this goes to show that what kind of havoc this has laid on people across world and we can only wait for a solution to this dreaded disease.
