Plans For Today

Today's plans as I'm finding making nice little lists and goals useful. Although I have noticed like yesterday I ended up ditching some of my to do's on the list for the website I was trying to build. That is my issue sticking to what I plan and not getting side tracked into something else!
It can make it seem less of an accomplishment because then you see the list of things you didn't complete and even though it's because I did something else because I didn't complete that thing and I feel like I am back at square one with building my site it just sort of compounded the feeling of I hadn't accomplished anything.
But today will be better! I'll probably focus more on easier smaller tasks. Less stressful ones!
Maybe my writing? Since I got so many good suggestions on my previous discussion about earning money online.
I need to do a submission for textbroker and have them grade it before I know if I'm good enough to be accepted in the mean time I think I am going to use Medium as well as vocal media.
I wasn't entirely sure of medium because of the way it works with subscribers and such and earning money from them and members only which is like but this means people who don't sign up to be at least free no subscribing members won't cause me to get paid if they do read my work.
And it does seem you can read articles without being signed in although they probably limit how many as I think they do that for non paying members too. Also another thing says the payout is related to how long someone spends reading your work or at least that is in part how they calculate payout but this means if I write a poem to upload it's obviously going to take less time to read than a long opinion piece.
I guess best thing to do is just sign up and give it a go because if it's no good the article will still be useful to upload onto vocal so either way it's good. I also guess even if it doesn't make me a lot of money double posting articles from vocal to medium is just an easy way to maximise profits on each piece of writing I do and it's probably worth the time to copy paste and upload over on medium I can't justify writing articles for medium to get only a pittance but if it's just an extra side way to earn cash on articles I already have then why not?
Right I'm sleepy but my mind is kind of active but I know I don't have the energy for anything right now. Time for a little nap or maybe some light TV.

@Hannihar Yes that is often with life that our plans end up getting derailed!
My days are usually not too eventful but my mental health can always throw a spanner in the works when it comes to my ability to complete tasks so have to make sure I take time to keep my mental health in good standing even if it's sacrificing time on other tasks/money making tasks to do so.
Mental health is more important gotta keep that in mind really because I can push on past it but it will catch up with me and then I'll be way worse off so it's not worth it in regards to the time I then lose out on being productive and it's really not good for me mentally it really can be horrible.
Although sometimes I cannot stop or help my poor mental health/depressive days and merely have to ride out the storm.
I hope today finds you well and that you have a good and productive day getting all the things you need to get done, done.

I've been on English/American writing sites for many years. I've learnt that the list making mania is widespread. People write about the lists they've made for themselves and ask other members what kind of lists they've made. I'm trying to find out why that is so. Maybe it's the Puritan heritage? Every day must be spent in a meaningful way. Leisure is to be avoided, even sinful.
Just a thought.
I have a general idea of what I have to do but don't see the necessity of planning my days meticulously. The only times I write lists are when I go away and have to pack a suitcase and when I go shopping and have many things to buy. But that's a different thing.

@MALUSE Well I think a lot of people haven't I did used to watch it here and there. Mostly because sometimes I just wanna put some mindless dumb TV on where I don't have to think too much about what is going on with the plot line and such.
Also I guess it sort of interested me as someone who was interested in Psychology and did study it at university it was kind of interesting seeing people all crammed into a smallish space sharing one big dorm room all different ages backgrounds and so on.
Just seeing them get along the cliques that form and so on. Idk can't say that I continued to watch it for that though I kept watching it because it was often times funny and I mostly ended up watching the celebrity ones if they had a celeb or two on it that I enjoyed and was interested in just I guess watching.
Again it was also just something often put on to keep me distracted from my thoughts often later at night when I couldn't sleep.
But each to their own! I can see why many people don't enjoy it so..eh
