What were some of your Grandma's favorite foods that you really enjoyed eating? In my case both my Grandma's died at relatively young ages so I was only 8 years old at the time. But I do remember two meals each made that I really enjoyed. One was sphagetti and meatballs with homemade sauce. The other Grandma was from the South (North Carolina/USA) and her specialty was fried chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans with gravy and biscuits. Ok, it's your turn to share.... Thanks for your input! Photo- taste of home

My grandma's favorite was making a soup called Chicken Tinola with green papaya fruits in it. It was very delicious.

I don't really remember any special meals. One made great ice-cream but the other was very old so she didn't do much cooking in the time I knew her.

@dgobucks226 It was back then as you couldn't buy it easily. It was quite a rigmarole to make.

She made a beef soup with chunks of fork-tender beef chuck. It was sooooo good. I managed to duplicate it a few years ago.
