Zen tale: Nothing exists as nothing. Everything exists as everything. Truth has nothing to do with words.

Zoakin Teloy, was a long-time student of the old Zen master, Uiam Dulldopei.
At the end of a long discourse, on emptiness, the master asked his assembled students, if they had any questions.
Were they emptied of questions by his talk, or where they filled up with questions, by his talk?
The master wanted to know the answer to this question, as it would indicate to him where his students were in their studies.
Zoakin put his hand into the air.
The master pointed to him, and said,
"and what is your question, my lad?"
Zoakin said,
"If emptiness is all there really is, why do I find myself now asking questions to another empty person?"
The old master stood up, and he walked right over to where Zoakin was still seated on a long wooden bench.
He placed his right hand on Zoakin's head, and he replied,
"See, my hand is solid enough to feel your emptiness, as my student here, but empty enough for you to feel my love, for you, as my son."
For indeed, Zoakin was indeed this master's son, although he didn't as yet know it.
The master had had an indiscretionary alliance with a lady before he had become the master here. The lady had disappeared back to her warrior husband, who would have killed her, (and probably the budding master too) if he had found out about this affair.
The boy had been born secretly, somehow, and the warrior, away fighting battles, for months at a time, had never found out about this boy.
The Zen temple had taken him, this young babe, into their temple, and had raised him as a student there, for all of his life then, until now.
"Love has more to do with action, than with words. Emptiness has more to do with words, than with love."
Zoakin had learnt the English language at his school.
Zoakin chuckled now inside of himself, as he knew the meaning of his master's name in English, but his master, was no dull dope, but a real enlightened master, he thought to himself.
The master, of course, noticed Zoakin, trying to suppress a smile, and he asked him what was so funny, here now.
The student cried a little bit, saying sorry,
"I just clicked over on something in my mind, but our mind reacts to these clicks in differing ways rather than the way our hearts respond to real love, really given. I felt your love for me right now."
Zoakin had felt the transmission of loving power going to him from his master, and father, and then he knew that emptiness is not emptiness at all, but merely a receptacle waiting to be filled with love.

Love is never empty, unless it's not given out.

Thanks. It sort of refreshes my hope, when I write these types of tales too.
Otherwise, I sit around in a depressed state, for much of the time.

Thanks. I am pleased you enjoyed my writing.
You wouldn't have heard of him before.
I just made him up, invented him, for my fiction piece here today.

@Nakitakona It just came off of the top of my head, so it has no meaning to it, or so I thought.
When the spell-check checked the name though, it suggested Zoeken instead, which is a word, Zoakin is not.
The meaning of Zoaken is:

So, it turns out that my random choice of name seems to have been a very good one.
Zoakin would mean the same thing, and I am happy with that meaning for my character here.

@innertalks Zoakin is a fictitious name. Isn't it? What does it mean?

Yes, we should not be miserly with love but we tend to be generous with hatred and that reflects on the world wide web of deceit and hypocrisy. Love is endless in us and the returns by giving out are manifold but the simple truth has escaped us right from time immemorial.
Words are sugar coated most times and and fool most of the people most times and the end result is a cynical world where the good deeds are outnumbered by selfish pursuits.
Love is the panacea to cure all our ills - siva

Yes, if we are miserly with love, we can never be our true self entirely fully within God.
It is love that grows us, expands us, teaches us, enhances us to grow and bloom into all that God created us to be.
And yes, if we have neglected love, and are suffering ills, and ill feelings, as a result of our doing this, (i.e neglecting love) embracing love again will cure us of these feelings of illness too.

@Shiva49 Perhaps the "me first" attitude is very hard to overcome.
At the moment, Australia is the laughing stock of the World.
Everyone here is hoarding toilet paper, because of the coronavirus scare.
"Me-first" rules the waves.

@innertalks A life bereft of love makes us square pegs in round holes, misfits, in the glorious world of love that God has created and invited us to be part of.
Why feel left out in this magnificent ride replete with everything to excite every core of our being? Every cell and atom in us goads us to do what is right and become part of all out love and to enjoy the party of coexistence - siva

Yes, that's well said, and that's what I was trying to say, with a lot more words too.
