I really enjoyed the first season of You on Netflix, so much that I am going to make it a point to read the book. You can get a PDF on eBay for 1.99. The first season of this on NF was really engrossing, but this second season has gotten so bizarre, I don't even care about it any more. The character was feeling the heat in New York and moved to LA, and that is where the problems began. I just don't like anything that is going on now, and it is just too weird. Did you ever have an experience like that with a show?

I am glad you enjoyed it. I did not. I do not like the show but I watched both seasons.

If you didn't like it, why did you watch both seasons?

@Hannihar Well, I don't think he is capable of change, although the good part of him wants to.

I just needed to. Cannot explain why. Maybe I was hoping that he would change, but, I see he did not.

It is about a love addict, stalker type, who is also a psychopath and murders several people. However, one side of him is truly good. It shows all of us even the worst of us, are multi faceted.

@Mensch Yes, it is my favorite genre. I just wish they would kill off the annoying people in this season.

@snowy22315 Sounds like a psychological thriller, I like this genre even. Though a bit violent but very interesting till the end.

They refer to it as “jumping the shark,” named for an episode of Happy Days where Fonzie did just that (jumped a shark on water skis). I find it annoying when shows do that, where characters just change completely for an episode (or more). It’s almost like a soap opera twist. I certainly don’t care for it. Of course, I don’t watch TV anymore, so what do I know.....

No. But I am a lover of the truly weird mind twisters.
