He Was A Dog Last Night ...

We always treats our Pups like children and for some reason it's hard to say they are ... dogs. Are you like that? I mean there's nothing wrong with being a ... dog, so, I don't know why I have a problem with it. They are my babies.
If I say dog, Skip will say don't call him, her a dog. I tell him the same. I tell Skip dogs are people. Ha!
Last night at midnight our Rottie, Kissy, began barking. He does a certain kind of bark at times I think just to be barking. It isn't at anything in particular. I told him to be quiet.
Today Skip said Kissy ... acted like a dog last night!

No, there's nothing wrong with Kissy doing what comes natural ... sometimes, it's very loud

Yes, I am sure Kissy has a very booming bark @GrannyGee Ally does too even though she doesn't look as fierce as Kissy.

@rebelann Kissy is a big teddy bear! He could be fierce but, never has to be. He lives up to his name I gave him. He is just precious and a mommy's baby.

@Hannihar Oh yes, she is your family for sure. That's where your Heart is ... and life revolves around our babies ... mine and Skip's life revolves around our Pups2. When we have to go shopping, doctor appointments and such, our minds are on getting back to feed our Pups2, we can't wait to get home to them. I bet you are the same way with Sophie.

For some, dogs are family. They have a term for them, furbabies and the people looking after them are furparents.

Those pups are lucky to have you as their furparents.

I am smiling because that's exactly right. We like to tease about our Pups2 ... they are our babies, spoiled, loved, taken the best care of.

My pet was a cockatiel, a type of small bird. And he was like a little kid, except he was even smaller physically!
It was like dealing with a small child, as he was full of the dickens.
I don't have children. But my pet cockatiel was so child-like. He was cute.

@GrannyGee Sadly, my pet cockatiel, Luke, passed away years ago.
You're right, he had a lot of personality!

@MainerMikeBrown I am so sorry. I was thinking how fascinating to enjoy the company of a bird with a lot of personality. I love the things I see on YouTube. One was about one screaming to let them out ... guys were working outside thinking the owner had someone locked inside ... they called the police! Police came ... they all got a big laugh.

Mike, do you still have your little cockatiel? He sounds like he had a personality!
