I can confirm that no where I have shopped lately is out of toilet paper, or Lysol cleaning supplies, or hand sanitizer or soap. Middle of Kansas. So far, so good. I have plenty on hand without stocking up. I hope it stays that way.

Good to have things on hand. Hope any panic doesn't get real bad.

I do not think rural Kansas will panic at all.

@celticeagle That is what a lot of people are saying. I guess in Wichita and bigger cities there are some outages.

We are out of sanitizer and disinfectant wipes, but everything else is fully in stock. People in Oklahoma aren't panicking either. One of my nurse friends says people don't realize they have a better chance of dying of the regular flu than getting the coronavirus. She's annoyed with the news media.

I can confirm that there are absolutely no hand sanitizers anywhere here (in my area of Southern CA). But other stuff I can mostly get if I go right when stores open . . . not a whole lot of choices, but I can still get a supply if needed. For now anyway. Now people are hoarding food items here !

I think they are here as well, but I have hardly been to the store since Thursday. I had sanitizer on hand, and mostly prefer soap and water.

@GardenGerty I hope you and your husband are doing ok out there (sorry I'm so behind on myLot right now - I can't get here as often now). Things are a bit calmer out here in the stores as they have gotten systematic, but I haven't stepped into any since Sunday. From the news, it seems the warehouse type stores are still nuts. I assume they are probably still out of certain things.

The only thing I wanted that was out was Clam Chowder at Aldi. No big deal. It is hubby's favorite, though.

@GardenGerty I got stocked back up on my sausage links at Sav-A-Lot. They are often out of them and had plenty today. Dont make sense what people are buying.

I have lots of TP, too, bought several weeks ago when it was on sale. Nothing to do with the virus.

I had just recently bought toilet paper at Sam's Club, so I have more than forty five rolls. Have a lot of simple cleaning stuff on hand.

there was some panic buying in spain for usual groceries... and there is very limited supply of sanitizer or face masks... so people have started using gloves if we go out ...andcthen wash our gands whenvwe return home...

About three days later, some shelves are getting empty, but I know that they will fill them. I already had all the stuff I feel I need.

I live in a very small town in MI. Our Walmart is already sold out of toilet paper, hand sanitizer, soap, etc. Other smaller stores are as well.

I did see reports that the nearest town with a store did eventually run out of things. I am sure everyone will restock quickly.

@GardenGerty We're on 18 acres, 7 kms (5 miles) from a small town and 1/2 hour to a city. We can't see our neighbours so in that respect we're 'remote'.
