Are there any members of Sparkpeople here on this site? I signed up in January after losing 15 pounds quitting drinking pop. Sparkpeople helped me almost double that in another two months :) If anyone is interested, here's the link to an article I wrote about it. If you sign up, I'd appreciate if you'd use shenanigan as your referrer :) www.associatedcontent.com/article/55922/the_secret_to_my_weight_loss.html

If this is the product sold by Advocare I have heard of it. I have also heard it is very expensive. If it improves your health it may be worth the cost. I will check it out.

Oh no! This isn't a pill or anything. It's a website that's free to join, and you can customize a diet/exercise program just for you. It's worth a look!

I used to do it and I thought that it was very helpful. I'm not really sure why I quit either. Now the first of the year has come around again I will have to do my "get healthy" thing and see if I can still access the site. I did get many good and helpful tips from that website.

I will be doing that too! But this year I have a little more motivation than just getting myself healthy. My husband has been off work since june after being hit by a car while riding his bicycle (broke his arm and needed 2 surgeries to reset it) and he's complaining about all the weight he's gained. So HE is my new year's resolution, along with ME. I have a few christmas gifts to return and with the money I get back (and then some) I'm going to buy a recumbent bike to go along with our treadmill, so we can work out at home. He doesn't like the treadmill, he has a hard time keeping his balance. He really wants a bike, and needs the recumbent so he doesn't put any unnecessary weight on his arm and shoulder. Hopefully this will work!

I'm an inactive member. I quit because I didnt have internet for a while, and now I might be preggers. If I'm not I will probably go back on it soon. It helped me to lose 30 pounds in two and a half months.

Good for you, congrats on the weight loss and your upcoming gain! Sparkpeople has a sister site you can use to stay healthy during pregnancy, it's www.babyfit.com. I'm looking forward to signing up for that one next time I'm preggers :)
