Close your eyes and try to imagine. You are looking out the window of your house, you are driving through town, or just driving down the interstate. How surreal would it be to be the only moving thing on the street? Is this what it has come too? Everyone avoiding each other so as not to infect the other. And what is with the toilet paper. Um, no we didn't buy any food, but we got plenty of toilet paper. Did I miss the news were we were told Charmin is the only sure way to protect your self? My son had a doctor's appointment for a surgery he is going to have. My husband wanted to go with him since he's already had to have this type of surgery. While in the waiting room my husband gets choked up, has a coughing fit, looks over to the lady next to him and exclaims how his cough has gotten so much worse since he returned home from overseas. This is his way of lightening the mood. My son told me people couldn't have moved away from them more obviously than if they jumped up and ran. If the receptionist got the joke she didn't show it. They were the last to get called back well after the appointment time. By the time they walked out of the office, they had called extra cleaners in. They both thought this was hilarious. At least till I started making them answer the phone when the busybodies started calling for information on how he got sick and when did he leave the country. One he isn't and two he never has. He just has a warped sense of humor.
