Got up late....but caught up with the time...

It's Sunday afternoon here and I am relaxing a bit with mylotting after a relay of non stop chores. Doesn't seem like a weekend as we all have holiday since Monday and husband too is working from home in view of corona safety and fear. So we are waking up to a relaxed morning. Today I woke up at 8 AM. We went for a 40 minute brisk walk and came back to resume chores. Well it's the deep cleaning week for me. I started from yesterday. We have this deep cleaning every two to three months in our house. So I finished making breakfast and lunch. And I am sure we will have enough left for dinner. Anyway we eat dinner like beggars in our house. So guess I am done with cooking for the day. Along with cooking, I ran two loads with the curtains of living room. I also cleaned the windows and doors of the utility area adjacent to my kitchen. After breakfast and cleaning up kitchen shelf and gas stove, I did sweat in my garden. The picture shows the bumper crop of tomatoes that I harvested today. And now as mylot, something is being cooked with those tomatoes on stove. I will make a next post on that. After a bit of break, I will get back and iron two loads that are waiting since yesterday. I also have to clean up my fridge in the late evening. That will be good enough for the cleaning today. What is keeping you busy on your weekend?? And as I log in I was happy to see a big change in my bank hereI am few cents away from 3 dollars. And I am happy about it. It's still half month at hand and I can make big. Thanks to all mylot users here. Now I will read your posts and take care of notifications.

Yes I was pretty busy for few hours and could finish a lot. Now once I sat down to relax, I am feeling tired and lazy.

@arunima25 This is not easy for us at all as there are no balconies in most flats in the square. We are not supposed to go for walks either its been like this for several days now.

@lovinangelsinstead21 I can understand. It's been more than a week for us being indoors. Now the whole country is on complete lockdown for next 21 days. Still not sure where we are heading to.

Now with a quarantine period I am not stepping out for walk or in fact not stepping out at all. I am doing some walk on terrace and just household chores make up for moving all muscles. I sit in my balcony in sun for some time and read.

@arunima25 I hope the monkey will stay out of your garden, what a shame if they destroy your crop.

Yes. That's the picture I took before harvesting them. Glad to be successful this year with tomatoes. Other years monkeys used to destroy all crop. Luckily they have not visited here in months.

@LadyDuck They really demotivated me and I limited my gardening to underground veggies, chillies and bitter gourds. They created a menace... Broke pots and pulled plants etc whenever they visited in troops.

@arunima25 Glad those monkeys didn’t gobble up your beautiful tomatoes. They must be awfully damaging to your garden when they are around. Thanks!

Thanks. I was happy to see the bumper crop. It's really good this year as monkeys are away for last few months due to all construction noises in the neighborhood. I read about your boo boo and you did a good job hiding it with your make up

Yes. Felt really good. Actually this is the first successful year with tomatoes. I almost gave up last year to monkeys menace. This time they have not visited us in months due to all the ongoing construction noise.

@arunima25 I can imagine the monkeys would be very hard to deter if they wanted to eat your crops.

@JudyEv They are real menace. I am planning to call a professional landscaper for our terrace garden. I got the number from my friend. They have put aesthetic nets on their garden to keep monkeys away. Also they provide all gardening solutions.

@arunima25 Today I plan to plant some seeds in containers even if we are heading towards winter. I´m afraid of the lack of veggies because of the virus.

Thanks. It's a holiday now a days. Even the gardener is not coming for quite some time due to virus scare. As such he has not been like his old self in last few months. I have to do maximum gardening work. I guess that's helping my garden. My personal care and work there.

@marguicha Yes. The virus might bring that shortage. But it surely takes minimum of few weeks before you can harvest the produce. Only for few leafy veggies like spinach you can have them in a week or two.
